A BILL to amend and reenact section four, article one, chapter twenty-two of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to continuing the department of environmental protection.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That section four, article one, chapter twenty-two of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 1. DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION.
§22-1-4. Department of environmental protection continued.

Pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of this code, the department of environmental protection shall continue to exist until the first day of July, two thousand three four, unless sooner terminated, continued or reestablished by act of the Legislature pursuant to the provisions of that article.
